We spent Tuesday morning at the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford. This anamatronic dinosaur was the first of many. Temu wanted to see it up close . . . but not too close.
We learned about rivers.
We raced some cars.
We saw rockets and spacemen.
We learned a little about physics. Temu was pleased with the 24 pounds of pressure that he can produce. Not bad when you only weigh 25 pounds!
Momma tried her luck with the radar gun.
The museum is on stories 4, 5, and 6 of a building overlooking the river and interstate. Temu enjoyed watching the trucks roll by.
Then it was time for more dinosaurs. Shortly after this picture, daddy was "fired" from his duties as protector in favor of mamma. Still, Temu was very brave, despite the loud roars and robotic movements of the dinosaurs.
This beach ball fascinated Temu. It's on a little stream of air that keeps it elevated.
You play these drums by stepping on them. Obviously that was a big hit.
The grande finale was the water exhibit. We were prepared with a second set of clothes. All and all it was a great day trip.
