May Happenings #3

The summer heat has arrived.  You'll be seeing lots of variations of this next pic over the next 3 months.

On Friday night daddy was on call so momma and Temu visited him at the hospital.  Temu decided one cookie isn't enough, rather he needs one for each hand.

On Memorial Day Saturday, Temu went to a party and held court on the trampoline.  Temu loves the trampoline, whether he's jumping or flirting.

On Sunday we had a big nap, then spent the afternoon at the 6 Mill St pool.  Temu wore himself out splashing and wanted to cuddle.

He was temporarily resuscitated with a popsicle.

But the sleepiness returned and he cuddled again with momma before calling it a night.

Big Rig Day

Today was Big Rig Day in Easthampton, a free community event for everyone interested in trucks.  For Temu, the only way this event could have been better is if sharks drove the trucks.  The weather was gorgeous and we all had a great time!

May Happenings #2

Here's a sampling of what we've been up to lately.

May Happenings

May isn't even half over with and it's already been a busy and fun month for us.  

Here are some photos of our latest and greatest.

I should probably have people guess what Temu is doing in the next 2 photos. Would you guess he invented a new game?  We came across this branch while "hiking" through one of our favorite parks, and Temu decided to throw his tennis ball into the branch.  He then climbed over, under, around, and through it to get the ball back. The best part was that he was saying "over, under around, and through" as his body was doing those things; mama took note of this game as a potential ESL lesson.  He played this game over and over for about 15 minutes, while mama lounged on the grass. Excellent.

Out for pizza dinner with daddy; Temu got a big cup with ice, juice (a real treat because he doesn't drink juice at home) and a straw; good times.

We finally found some ice cream that somewhat resembles Wisconsin custard; Temu approves.

The hummus got a wee bit out of control.

Our friends got a trampoline and we all really like it!

We had a warm weekend - both days in the 80s - so all the toys came out!  I never thought we'd own so much colorful plastic stuff - but it's fun, bright, and cleans up well.
