Friday night we celebrated daddy passing the boards with a trip to Riff's.

We've visited a lot of places while living on the east coast, but not Washington DC. Well, not until Saturday.

Temu loved the subway. Not a surprise.

Temu at the White House, which per Temu, is the home of Broccoli Obama.
Air and Space Museum, entering a replica space station.
Museum of Natural History.
Temu with a Madagascar cockroach. Temu asked the worker if it was made of wood. It does sort of look that way.

Perhaps the coolest zoo exhibit I've ever seen. The orangoutang walks overhead platform to platform on two lines, right over the heads of the visitors. There's no net and no cage. If he fell, he would crush some little kid, but I'm pretty sure he never falls.
Bao Bao the panda.
Daddy's favorite part of Washington DC, the world war II memorial.
Temu did not like being hoisted up on the platform for a picture with George Washington, as he was sure he was going to fall. Hard to believe this is the same kid I had to hold down to keep from bouncing off the chairlift at Sugarloaf.
Breakfast at Wicked Waffles.
Temu's favorite part of Washington DC.
He won't eat the mussels, but he'll play with them.
Screaming for ice cream.
We're all home tonight, then tomorrow Temu and Shelley leave for Salt Lake City.
